Guwahati (Assam), Jul 14 (ANI): As the flood situation in the state of Assam is getting worse, Additional Chief Secretary of Assam Home, Political, Revenue and DM Department, Kumar Sanjay Krishna has said that an amount of Rs 56 crores have been released to different districts to help flood affected areas. He said, "We have instructed all Deputy Commissioners to provide rescue and relief operations everywhere. Relief camps have been opened." He further added, "There are certain centers where people who are not coming to relief camps; they have been provided with food. As of now we have not asked any help from central government and we don't need any immediate assistance. 56 crores have been released to different districts."
