London-based consumer technology start-up Nothing has launched the Phone (2), its second-generation smartphone and the successor to the Phone (1). The Phone (2) brings many upgrades, which may look incremental in silo but together deliver experience one expects from a mid-premium smartphone in 2023. Among the core upgrades is the redesigned glyph interface, which is now divided into 33 individually addressable zones and supports more customisations option. Besides, the smartphone brings performance improvement across board, including imaging, thanks to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. On the software side, there is a new monochrome theme with support for customizable apps folder, lock screen interface, and Nothing-designed widgets.
