He will now play for bronze medal on August 9, while in women's 57kg freestyle event Anshu Malik lost her first bout against her opponent from USA and was eliminated from 2024 Paris Olympics. In women's 100m hurdle repechage, Jyothi Yarraji failed to make it to the semifinals after finishing 4th in her heat.

In golf women's individual event, India's Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar are tied at T14 position after the end of round 2.
