Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, part of Aditya Birla Capital, on Monday reported a 36 per cent year-on-year jump in net profit to Rs 242.4 crore for the three months ended September 2024. The asset management firm had posted a net profit of Rs 178.1 crore in the same quarter of the preceding fiscal, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC (ABSL AMC) said in a stock exchange filing. The company's revenue from operations rose 27 per cent to Rs 424.2 crore in the July-September quarter of the current fiscal (FY25) from Rs 335 crore in the year-ago period. ABSL AMC's assets under management increased 23 per cent to Rs 3.83 lakh crore at the end of September 2023. For the first half of FY25, the company reported a profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 480 crore, reflecting a 32 per cent growth year-on-year. It posted total revenue of Rs 1,000 crore, marking a 28 per cent increase year-on-year.

Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC on Wednesday reported a 28 per cent rise in profit after tax to Rs 235.7 crore, its highest quarterly gain, for the three months ended June 2024. The asset management firm, part of Aditya Birla Capital, had posted a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 184.6 crore in the same quarter of the preceding fiscal, according to a stock exchange filing. The company's revenue from operations rose 24 per cent to Rs 386.6 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 311.2 crore in the April-June quarter of the preceding fiscal (2023-24). ABSL AMC's assets under management stood at Rs 3.52 lakh crore at the end of the June 2024 quarter, reflecting a 19 per cent year-on-year growth. Founded in 1994, ABSL AMC is co-owned by Aditya Birla Capital and Sun Life (India) AMC Investments Inc. It is one of the leading asset managers in India, servicing around 9.4 million investor accounts with a pan-India presence across over 300 locations.

Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC on Friday reported a 54 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 208.4 crore for three months ended March 2024. In comparison, the company had posted a net profit of Rs 135.57 crore in the same quarter of the preceding fiscal, the asset management firm said in a filing to the stock exchanges. Total income surged 34 per cent to Rs 440 crore in the January-March period of FY24 from Rs 329 crore in the year-ago period. The company's board of directors in its meeting recommended a dividend of Rs 13.50 per equity share for FY24. For the entire FY24, the company's total income stood at Rs 1,640 crore, marking a jump of 21 per cent year-on-year and net profit was at Rs 780.36 crore in 2023-24, an increase of 31 per cent from the preceding fiscal. Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC on Monday said its promoters propose to sell 7 per cent of their stake for Rs 900 crore. The promoters, Aditya Birla Capital Ltd and Sun Life (India) AMC Investments Inc, propose to sell up to 2,01,66,293 shares of the company representing 7 per cent of stake by way of an offer-for-sale (OFS) through stock exchange mechanism, a regulatory filing said. At the base offer, promoters would raise Rs 900 crore, while with the green shoe option they would raise about Rs 1,487 crore. The two-day OFS opens on Tuesday and closes on Wednesday, it said. The OFS comes with an option to additionally sell up to 1,28,86,277 shares representing 4.47 per cent, it said. The base offer size and the oversubscription option will represent 11.47 per cent of the total issued and paid up share capital of the company, that is 3,30,52,570 shares, it said. In comparison, the company had posted a net profit of Rs 166.3 crore in the same quarter of the preceding fiscal, the asset management firm said in a regulatory filing. Total income grew to Rs 420.96 crore in the quarter under review as against Rs 363.17 crore in the October-December period of the preceding fiscal (2022-23).
