Technology and services provider Bosch Ltd on Monday announced the formation of a joint venture with Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd to cater to the requirements of electric mobility. The partners plan to hold equal shares in the joint venture, which aims to start its operations by mid-2026, subject to receiving all regulatory approvals, Bosch Ltd said in a regulatory filing. The joint venture will focus on engineering, manufacturing and sales of eAxle systems and electric motors in India, it added. With a registered office in Pune, the joint venture aims to accelerate the adoption of sustainable and forward-looking technologies, thereby expanding the regional footprint for both companies in the e-mobility space, the filing said. Auto components firm Bosch on Tuesday said its consolidated profit after tax declined 2 per cent to Rs 554 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025, amid challenging business environment. The company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 564 crore for the January-March period of 2023-24 fiscal year. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 4,911 crore from Rs 4,233 crore a year ago, Bosch said in a regulatory filing. For FY25, the company reported 19 per cent fall in consolidated PAT at Rs 2,013 crore as against Rs 2,490 crore in FY24. Revenue rose to Rs 18,087 crore from Rs 16,727 crore. Auto components maker Bosch on Tuesday said its consolidated net profit declined by 12 per cent to Rs 458 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2024. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 518 crore in the October-December period of the last fiscal. Its revenue from operations rose to Rs 4,466 crore for the third quarter compared to Rs 4,205 crore in the year-ago period, Bosch said in a regulatory filing. "This quarter, Bosch generated growth through the development of advanced automotive components and customer-focused solutions. Increased service income from major OEMs testifies to their continued trust in us and our expertise," Bosch Ltd MD Guruprasad Mudlapur said. Auto components maker Bosch on Tuesday said its consolidated profit after tax rose 14 per cent to Rs 466 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2024. The company had reported a profit after tax of Rs 409 crore in the April-June quarter of last fiscal. Total income rose to Rs 4,496 crore for the period under review as compared with Rs 4,346 crore in the year-ago period, Bosch Ltd said in a regulatory filing. "The financial year commenced with moderate growth in the automotive market despite the challenges of a high base from the previous year, a slowdown related to elections and the summer heatwaves," Bosch Ltd Managing Director Guruprasad Mudlapur said. Continued demand in the passenger car segment, coupled with growth in production and wholesale, resulted in growth for the company in the first quarter, he added. "However, retail sales have remained sluggish leading to a rise in the pipeline inventory. Despite the challenges, the overall sentiment in the automotive sector rema
