This monumental achievement marks the first time such advanced human neuroscience data has been produced in India, completed at less than 1/10th of the cost in Western countries
Sadhguru had been expressing complaints of worsening headaches for the last four weeks. On March 17, a brain scan revealed a massive bleeding in his skull, leading to an emergency surgery

Researchers develop computational approach to study interactions between genes responsible for inter-organ communication
Scientists have uncovered details regarding an immune response to a virus present in all human tissues, that kicks in in the elderly and eliminates senescent, or aging, cells in the skin. Senescent cells are those that stop dividing but do not die, accumulating in the body over time, fuelling chronic inflammation and contributing to conditions such as cancer and degenerative disorders. Eliminating senescent cells from aging tissues has been found to restore tissue balance in mice, leading to an increased healthy lifespan. When a team of scientists, led by Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), US, found that the number of senescent cells in samples from old individuals did not increase as the individuals got older, they realised that there is some mechanism kicking in to keep the aging in check. The scientists have described their findings in the journal Cell. Experiments have proved that in the elderly, certain immune cells called killer CD4+ T cells keep senescent cells from ...
'The risk of brain stroke is higher in patients with high blood pressure and those travelling to the mountains at this time of the year'
Researchers have found that subjects infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus displayed signs of severe brain inflammation and injury
According to a recent study, the drowsiness that many Alzheimer's patients experience are caused not by a lack of sleep, but rather by the degeneration of a type of neuron that keeps us awake
In the current study, the scientists developed neural tissue that can form different shapes, using hydrogels and a protein called fibrin to make millimetre to centimeter scale structures.
Emerging research indicates that brain differences between males and females help account for the split
Researchers found two drugs that block a major pathway which leads to brain cell death in mice
