The Rodtep scheme seeks to refund the duties/taxes/levies, at the Central, State and local level, borne on the exported product, including prior stage cumulative indirect taxes on goods

Some experts see significant positives, other believe problems associated with older policy will persist

It is a welcome development but the question is why it took so long to do so

They say frequent change in govt policies has led to 'trust deficit' in such export promotion zones and affected fresh investments
