The Supreme Court agreed to hear a plea by ex-MP Mohammed Adeeb seeking contempt action against Haryana officers for alleged failure to prevent incidents in connection with Friday prayers by Muslims

Muslim groups decided that the Friday prayers will be held at 12 places on the land of masjid, madarsa and Waqf Board, while on a temporary basis it will also be offered at six places for a few days

Haryana CM Manhohar lal Khattar made remarks after Hindutva organisations disrupted Namaz at several places in Gurgaon. Hindutva organisations was trying to stop Friday prayers in Gurgaon
