Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd -- provider of cable and internet services -- on Wednesday reported a decline of 18.1 per cent in consolidated net profit to Rs 18.32 crore for the June quarter. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 22.36 crore in the April-June period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing from Hathway Cable, a firm owned by the Reliance Industries Group. Its total revenue was flat at Rs 502.61 crore in the June quarter. It was at Rs 499.23 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. During the quarter, its revenue from the Cable TV business was at Rs 336.14 crore and Rs 151.19 crore from broadband services in the June quarter of FY25. Hathway Cable's total income, which includes other income, was down 1.69 per cent in the June quarter to Rs 524.36 crore. Total expenses of Hathway Cable was down 2 per cent to Rs 503.14 crore.
Cable television distribution company Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd on Tuesday reported a 22.31 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 22.35 crore for the third quarter of 2023-24. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 28.77 crore in the October-December period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing of Hathway Cable & Datacom, a firm controlled by Reliance Industries Group. However, its total revenue was up 5.46 per cent to Rs 504.58 crore in the October-December quarter. It was at Rs 478.45 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. In the December quarter, total expenses of Hathway Cable & Datacom were at Rs 512.36 crore, up 5.7 per cent. Shares of Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd on Tuesday settled at Rs 23.85, down 2.77 per cent from the previous close.
Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd on Monday reported a 6.62 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 22.36 crore for the quarter ended in June 2023. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 20.97 crore in the April-June period a year ago, Hathway Cable & Datacom said in a BSE filing. Its revenue from operations was 11.63 per cent higher at Rs 499.23 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 447.18 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal. Total expenses of Hathway Cable in the first quarter of 2023-24 were up 13.85 per cent to Rs 513.85 crore. Its total income in the June quarter was at Rs 533.37 crore, up 14.75 per cent. Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd, a provider of Cable TV & Fiber internet services, on Monday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 14.61 crore for the fourth quarter that ended March 31, 2023. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 28.42 crore in the January-March period a year ago, Hathway Cable & Datacom said in a BSE filing. However, its revenue from operations was at Rs 459.59 crore, up 2.40 per cent, as against Rs 448.79 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Its revenue from the broadband business was at Rs 159.16 crore and Rs 300.43 crore from the Cable TV business in the fourth quarter. Hathway Cable's total expenses in Q4/FY23 were up 8.24 per cent to Rs 484.49 crore. Its consolidated net profit for the financial year ended March 31, 2023, declined 49.85 per cent to Rs 65.37 crore.
