On a sequential basis, HCL Tech's revenue for the quarter ended September 30, rose 6.7 per cent while net income rose 19.4 per cent to Rs 2,651 crore.

On Wednesday, the Noida-based firm reported a 20.5 per cent rise in annual revenue in constant currency to Rs 17,528 crore

Its revenue from operations grew 18 per cent to Rs 17,527 crore in the quarter under review, from Rs 14,860 crore in the year-ago period

On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, the company's stock has surged 9 per cent against the S&P BSE Sensex's 0.16 per cent decline.
