India Grid Trust on Tuesday said Alberta Investment Management Corporation and HDFC Life will invest Rs 567 crore and Rs 100 crore, respectively, in it. According to a statement, India Grid Trust (IndiGrid) announced the launch of its preferential issue process to raise Rs 695 crore following the successful conclusion of the offer-for-sale (OFS). IndiGrid on Tuesday launched its preferential issue process to raise Rs 695 crore through primary issuance of units for Rs 136.43 /unit, it added. IndiGrid has received investment commitments from Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), one of Canada's largest and most diversified institutional investment managers, and HDFC Life for an investment of Rs 567 crore and Rs 100 crore, respectively, with a balance committed by other investors. India Grid Trust on Friday reported a 57 per cent fall in consolidated profit to Rs 58.4 crore for the March 2024 quarter, dragged by higher expenses. It had clocked Rs 137.1 crore profit in the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange. The company's total income rose to Rs 824.2 crore from Rs 624.8 crore in January-March FY23. During the period under review, its expenses stood at Rs 758.1 crore against Rs 500.5 crore a year ago. The company's board also announced "Q4 FY24 distribution of Rs 3.55 per unit comprising Rs 2.7361 per unit in the form of interest, Rs 0.8139 per unit in the form of dividend. The record date for this distribution will be May 30, 2024, and payment will be made on or before June 8, 2024". For the full year, the company reported a profit of Rs 296.4 crore from Rs 465.7 crore a year ago. Its consolidated net profit stood at Rs 125.79 crore in the quarter ended on September 30, 2022, according to a regulatory filing. The company's total expenses rose to Rs 683.39 crore in the July-September quarter from Rs 466.76 crore a year ago. During the period under review, total income also increased to Rs 720.18 crore as against Rs 595.91 crore in the year-ago period. India Grid Trust (IndiGrid) on Friday reported over 29 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 107.18 crore in the June 2023 quarter, helped by higher income. It had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 83.07 crore in the same period of 2022-23, the company said in a regulatory filing on Friday. The total income increased to Rs 654.53 crore from Rs 586.46 crore in the year-ago quarter. India Grid Trust (IndiGrid) on Thursday said its consolidated net profit almost doubled to Rs 125.79 crore in the September quarter, aided by higher revenues. The consolidated net profit of the company stood at Rs 68.17 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2021, as per a BSE filing. Total income of the company rose to Rs 595.91 crore in the quarter from Rs 559.97 crore in the same period a year ago.
