Kinetic Green Energy & Power Solutions on Monday said it has collaborated with battery-as-a-service operator Yuma Energy, for deploying 1 lakh electric vehicles over the next four years to accelerate last-mile e-mobility in the country. The rollout will start from Pune next month with approximately 1,000 E- Luna being offered under the strategic partnership to select fleet operators, the company said. The E-Luna caters to various last-mile delivery applications such as food, groceries, e-commerce and quick commerce delivery. The partnership will then be scaled nationally to 1 lakh electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers in next four years. Electric vehicle maker Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions on Monday said it has forged a technical collaboration with Jio Platforms Limited's subsidiary JioThings to launch a suite of digital display platforms and analytics. As part of this collaboration, Kinetic Green is unveiling an innovative Smart TFT-based digital and connected display platform to revolutionise the riding experience for its consumers on its E2W platforms, the company said. This advanced display integrates essential features, including real-time navigation, notifications for incoming calls, and information on nearby charging stations, Kinetic Green Energy added. The collaboration will also introduce key features like a built-in Bluetooth and telematics-enabled device to ensure seamless connectivity. Electric vehicle maker Kinetic Green on Wednesday said it is working on a family e-scooter, which is expected to hit the market in the next one-and-a-half years even as it ruled out entering the fast-expanding electric motorcycle segment. At a media roundtable here Kinetic Green Founder and CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani also said that the company is targeting a topline of Rs 10,000 crore by 2030 and 60 per cent of this revenue will come from the two-wheeler business. She also outlined the company's vision 3.0 for the next phase of growth, which, according to her, is aimed at capturing scale. "We are working on a family e-scooter, which will be launched in about 18 months from now. The e-scooter would be in the urban format," she said. Electric two-wheeler maker Kinetic Green is looking to invest Rs 100 crore for developing the e-Luna, which is set for a formal launch next month, the company's Founder and CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani said. The booking of e-Luna will start on January 26 and the vehicles will be available next month, paving the way for the return of the Luna brand -- this time in an electric avatar -- over five decades after its first launch, the company said in a statement on Wednesday. The e-Luna will address the needs of passengers and last-mile delivery segments, and has the potential of a multi-utility vehicle, she said. Kinetic Green Energy & Power Solutions, which has partnered with Chinese EV major Aima Technology Group to co-design and develop electric two-wheelers for the Indian market, plans to invest around Rs 80-100 crore on the project, which entails three new models this year itself, its founder-CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani has said. Pune-based Kinetic Green entered the rapidly-growing domestic electric two-wheeler space last year, after establishing its presence in the e-three-wheeler segment, with two scooter models -- Zing and Zoom. The Kinetic group had earlier in the mid-1980s partnered with Japanese auto major Honda Motor to manufacture scooters. Kinetic Green, a part of Pune- based Kinetic Group, has inked a pact with shared e-mobility firm SmartE to introduce 10,000 electric three-wheelers across the country within next 18 months. Under the partnership, the first batch of 500 vehicles have already been rolled out in Gurgaon in collaboration with Delhi Metro Rail, HSIIDC and Rapid Metro Gurgaon. "Kinetic Green is pleased to partner with SmartE for deployment of a vast fleet of electric vehicles, especially electric rickshaws to offer a green and differentiated last mile connectivity and affordable urban public transport solution," Kinetic Green Energy & Power Solutions Founder & CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani said in a statement.
