Super luxury car maker Automobili Lamborghini on Wednesday said a strong order book and product portfolio in India will help it register consistent growth in the domestic market. Automobili Lamborghini, which launched its first plug-in hybrid super sports car Revuelto with V12 engine at a starting price of Rs 8.89 crore (ex-showroom) on Wednesday, said almost all its cars to be delivered in India 2024 onwards will be hybrid. Lamborghini to deploy hybrid tech across model range in India by 2024-end

Italian automaker Automobili Lamborghini plans to deploy hybrid technology in its models in India by the end of 2024 as the Italian super sports car maker aims to halve the emissions from its cars in the coming years, according to a top company executive. Having established a presence across top cities in India, Italian automaker Automobili Lamborghini is now eyeing customers in smaller centres to generate additional volumes, according to a top company official. The super sports car maker is bullish on the country's economic growth, a rise of first-generation entrepreneurs and large-scale road infrastructure development to fuel future business growth. Italian automaker Automobili Lamborghini on Friday reported record sales in India with 92 units in 2022, growing at 33 per cent from the previous year. The company, which sells a range of super luxury cars with prices starting from Rs 3.16 crore in India, had recorded its previous best-ever sales in the country in 2021 with 69 units. Before that its best sales was in 2019 when it had sold a total of 52 units. Globally, the company said 2022 saw the best sales figure ever and delivered 9,233 cars worldwide, an increase of 10 per cent over the previous year.
