The observation by a bench of Justices B R Gavai and K V Viswanathan came while it was hearing a plea filed by a man who has challenged a May 2023 Allahabad High Court order dismissing his application seeking to set aside proceedings against him pending before a district court in Kasganj in a case registered under the Act. Air India Express on Tuesday announced the launch of four new routes from Bhubaneswar as a part of the airline's expansion plan in eastern India. As per information provided by the office of the UP Relief Commissioner, ten people were injured in the incident. They were rescued and sent to the hospital. The incident occurred at around 5 pm. The building was being used as a godown, officials said. Some construction work was being done in the three-storey building, police said. Senior police and administrative officials are on the spot to oversee the ongoing rescue operations. "Rescue teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have been deployed to the scene and are working to extricate the trapped individuals," said Relief Commissioner GS Naveen Kumar. Social media company Meta AI saved the life of a woman who was attempting to commit suicide here, as she was allegedly upset over being abandoned by her husband, a police official said. The Uttar Pradesh government Friday notified the formation of the State Capital Region' (SCR) on the lines of the National Capital Region (NCR). According to the notification, a total area of 27,826 square kilometres will be included in the SCR.
