Drug firm Dr Reddy's Laboratories on Wednesday said it has entered into a definitive agreement with BioDelivery Sciences International, Inc., to sell its US and Canada territory rights

Drug major Cipla on Tuesday said it has received final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Sumatriptan Nasal Spray, indicated for the treatment of migraine attacks

The drug, Aimovig, made by Amgen and Novartis, is a monthly injection with a device similar to an insulin pen. Aimovig blocks a protein fragment, CGRP, that instigates and perpetuates migraines

The drug comes as a big relief to more than 127 million people suffering from chronic migraine
