Centre talking to several states for river linking projects: Minister Patil

Asserting that river linking projects will help in better water management and provide drinking water to more households, Jal Shakti Minister C R Patil said here that the Centre is talking to several states to link more rivers in the coming days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday accused Congress of ignoring Dr B R Ambedkar's contribution to the development of water resources in the country as he laid the foundation stone of the Ken-Betwa river linking project in Madhya Pradesh.
