Last year, the tech major had started a small pilot for an accelerator programme for 10 women entrepreneurs in rural India across its Internet Saathi network

Founded in 2014 by entrepreneur Sairee Chahal, Sheroes network has become one of the largest employment generators for women in the country

The survivors earn about Rs 12,000 a month and live in a women's hostel. Sheroes has, through them, become a symbol of resilience
