Financial services company Societe Generale on Friday sold private sector lender IndusInd Bank's shares for Rs 421 crore through an open market transaction. According to the bulk deal data available on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Paris-headquartered Societe Generale offloaded 39.30 lakh shares or 0.50 per cent stake in IndusInd Bank. The shares were disposed of at an average price of Rs 1,070.61 apiece, taking the transaction value to Rs 420.80 crore. Meanwhile, Societe Generale bought 29,725 shares at an average price of Rs 1,083.79 per piece, as per the data on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). This took the deal value to Rs 3.22 crore. Six entities, including Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius, ICICI Prudential MF and Societe Generale, on Friday acquired stakes in Netweb Technologies India for Rs 458 crore through open market transactions. As per the data available on NSE, Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius, Discovery Global Opportunity Mauritius, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Invesco MF, Societe Generale and Union MF bought a total of 20,54,795 shares or 3.64 per cent stake in Netweb Technologies India. Shares were picked up at an average price of Rs 2,232.10 apiece, taking the combined deal value to Rs 458.65 crore. Meanwhile, four promoters -- Navin Lodha, Sanjay Lodha, Niraj Lodha and Vivek Lodha -- offloaded the same amount of shares at the same price on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Two individuals on Monday divested a 4.2 per cent stake in Jyoti CNC Automation for Rs 1,079 crore via open market transactions while Axis Mutual Fund, Morgan Stanley and Societe Generale picked up shares in the company. A total of 96.05 lakh shares or 4.2 per cent stake in Jyoti CNC Automation was pared by the two public shareholders, Paresh Mohanlal Parekh and Vijay Mohanlal Parekh. Energy firm ReNew on Wednesday announced that it has signed an initial pact with European bank Societe Generale for up to USD 1 billion financing as debt and advisory solutions over the next three years. ReNew has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Societe Generale, to support the financing and development of the company's various strategic energy transition projects both in India and globally, a company statement said. Both parties will leverage their respective expertise to strengthen the collaboration on utility-scale energy projects including solar, wind, complex renewables, green hydrogen, energy storage and solar modules manufacturing. ReNew Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer Sumant Sinh said, "This MoU represents a key milestone towards our ambitions in India and worldwide. Financial services company Societe Generale on Tuesday sold shares of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) for Rs 216 crore through an open market transaction. According to the bulk deal data available with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Societe Generale offloaded 83,45,179 shares, amounting to a 0.87 per cent stake in ZEEL. The shares were disposed of at an average price of Rs 259.10 apiece, taking the deal value to Rs 216.22 crore. Societe Generale and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company on Wednesday bought shares of athleisure footwear company Campus Activewear for Rs 124 crore through open market transactions. According to the bulk deal data available with the NSE and BSE, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance acquired 25 lakh shares and Societe Generale bought more than 17.14 lakh shares, amounting to 0.82 per cent and 0.56 per cent stake, respectively, in the company.
