The security forces are yet to get a breakthrough even as the search operation to track down the terrorists responsible for attacking an IAF convoy that claimed the life of a corporal rank personnel, entered the sixth consecutive day on Thursday. The security forces are trying to identify the attackers through four pictures of terrorists released by them. A fresh search operation was launched in the border areas of Akhnoor belt following suspected movement of some persons last night, they said. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said under the "strong" BJP-led government at the Centre, the country's security forces are eliminating terrorists on their own turf. Addressing an election rally here, Modi said the echoes of 'Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar' were being heard across the country as people have seen the benefits of having a stable government. "Enemies took advantage and terrorism spread whenever there were weak and unstable governments in the country. India was faced with terror attacks and infiltration of terrorists under the Congress-led UPA regime, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said, adding the country's stature has now increased on the world stage under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
