West Bengal Name Change

In 2016, it was reportedly proposed to rename the state as Bengal in English, Bangla in Bengali and Bangal in Hindi but Centre turned it down

It is to be seen what will be the central government's view now after the state assembly proposed to change the name 'Bangla' in all three languages
