Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman chaired the 54th GST Council meeting today. One of the key agendas was the potential reduction of GST on health and life insurance premiums, currently at 18%. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in New Delhi. Tomorrow, the Crown Prince will attend a business forum in Mumbai with top business leaders from both countries.
