Northern Railways has temporarily suspended platform ticket sales at key stations to ease crowd congestion during the festive season. This decision follows a recent stampede at Mumbai’s Bandra station, where ten people were injured in a rush for a Gorakhpur-bound train ahead of Diwali and Chhath Puja.
