For Pavan Vaish, it's been quite a journey from being a co-founder of a small start-up in 2000 to being CEO IBM Daksh. Here he talks about his fave gadgets

How many gadgets do you carry?

My cellphone, Blackberry, iPod and IBM ThinkPad.

Your favourite gadget till date and why?

The Blackberry, because it is the best integration between the cellphone and PDA that I have seen so far.

A dream machine you would like to build?

A palm-size laptop with a built-in cellphone which is capable of sending replies to most of your emails.

The next gadget on your must-buy list ...

The latest Lego robotic set. I am still a kid at heart.

An application that is a lifesaver for executives?

Sametime, for instant communication with my colleagues.

Most embarrassing moment while exhibiting your toys around?

It has to be when I dropped hot coffee on my latest IBM Thinkpad's keyboard.

Which website do you frequent the most and why?

That would be Google. I visit it at least five times a day as this is my portal to the Internet. I use Google to access all news and information.

Do you blog yourself or read any blogs?

I read the family blog to keep an update on how everyone is doing.

Have you ever hacked a machine or wished to?

I would never do that.

Your biggest tech disaster?

I had to change the ringtone on my wife's cellphone and I couldn't. I can't think of a bigger tech disaster that that!
