If he is not toying with his Apple Macintosh, he can be found using the Sony PlayStation console. His secret wish is to get a teleporter home, to beam him to any destination, in no time at all.

Recount an occasion when a gadget came to your rescue.

The single gadget that bails me out in crisis situations is the Nokia Communicator that has a BlackBerry suite for emails. This phone is indispensable.

Which one of your gadgets was a complete waste of money?

i-mate's Jasjar was a complete disappointment. Not only was it a bulky phone but it had features that could not justify its commercial value.

How often do you change your gadgets?

Quite regularly. I change my mobile phone and laptop every six months. The most common reason for change is technical obsolescence and design. I keep upgrading or replacing my gadgets to keep pace with the change.

Your costliest device to date would be...

A golf simulator, although it is yet to be delivered. It is a complete mix of brain and game and I hope to be entertained, along with perfecting my golfing skills, and experience challenging courses.

What is the next gadget on your must-buy list?

Definitely the iPhone as it seems to be the most interactive phone available in the international market. I am eagerly waiting for it to arrive in India, officially.

If you could, what kind of dream gadget would you build?

Taking a cue from modern day cartoons, a device that could teleport me to any destination and save precious travelling time.

Name your most embarrassing tech moment.

I was presenting a business proposal to a state chief recently, and just when it was time to project some slides from the laptop, it did not work and even the back-up laptop did not come to my rescue.

Which funky gadget have you had most fun experimenting with?

The Apple Mac happens to be my most fun device because of the billions of things one can do with it "" from creating movies to mixing music. It is an awesome way to hone your creative insights while sitting at a desk.

The Sony Playstation is an awesome gadget to unwind with friends. The speed and realism it offers can truly give you a mind boggling experience.
