After Slumdog Millionaire’s Oscar glory, Hollywood is all set to adapt another India-themed story. This time it is Aravind Adiga's Booker prize winner, The White Tiger.

John Hart, who produced Oscar-nominated The Revolutionary Road, has acquired the rights for the screen adaptation of the book, which centres around the life of an ambitious rickshaw driver, Balram Halwai.

The film will be made under Hart's newly formed production house, Smuggler Films, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
