WHICH CAR?

Among the cars you've listed, we recommend you go for the Baleno.

The Baleno offers value for money, smooth Japanese performance and fuel efficiency too. It's good to drive and is comfortable. As for resale value, most of the cars you have listed will give you the same kind of returns a few years down the line.

The Indigo's reliability is suspect, so we are not recommending it to you. A diesel car may give you more km for your money, but since your outstation trips are occasional, the fuel efficient Baleno is good enough.

I would like to buy a car and my budget is Rs 13 lakh. I am unable to find any good car in this price range. However, I am very much interested in buying a Honda CR-V but unfortunately, it is only available with an automatic gearbox and that's not my style.

Anyway, I just read last month that Honda is launching the CR-V with a manual gearbox by October. Could you please tell me if this is indeed the case?

You can also consider the Ford Endeavour in the Rs 13 lakh price bracket
