The Accent is a good all-round performer, but in your case, we suggest you give the Ikon Flair 1.3 a try - it has better rear seat comfort and overall ride quality. We can't confidently recommend the Petra because of concerns regarding Fiat, while the Indigo is not as refined as the other cars you have outlined.

Archana, via email An all new Accent debuted at the New York Motor Show recently, but it may take time before it comes to our shores. If you have decided on the Accent as your next car, the arrival of a new car a year down the line shouldn't stop you today.

| Remember you are buying a car that suits your needs and if the current Accent meets it you should go ahead and buy it. The Swift is a neatly packaged little Suzuki that a lot of people are waiting for. We expect a May 2005 launch for the car. It will be an ideal car to replace your good old Maruti.
