Coolex '06 starts in Jaipur

"Good products and greater value to the customers are the only ways to sustain in this immensely competitive market", said Rajasthan's Minister of State for Tourism Usha Punia on Friday while inaugurating Coolex 2006, an exposition on air-conditioning and refrigeration systems organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Jaipur.

The exposition is being held here from April 14 to April 17. Coolex 2006 is ninth in the series of annual expositions on air-conditioning and refrigeration and is being organised in the pink city for the second time.

The highlights of the four-day exposition are buyer-seller meet, interactive product demonstrations and new product launches.

Most of the exhibitors are coming up with various discounts and attractive schemes on air conditioners and refrigerators.

Shripal Choudhari, chairman, CII Rajasthan, said, "Visitors will surely appreciate the exposition as they will have many brands under one roof."

"It was good to see the special schemes and the discounted tariff which exhibitors have come up with and this is the best way to attract the customers. I too am even thinking of buying from here," said R K Poddar, immediate past chairman of CII Rajasthan.

Voltas, Godrej, Samsung India Electronics Ltd, LG Electronics, Hyundai, Haier etc. are some of the companies participating at the event.

The exhibition's scope and range of products demonstrated include air conditioners (window and split), voltage stabilizers, refrigerators, deep freezers, components, etc.

The exposition will attract housewives, architects, dealers, distributors and other general consumers.

Voltas and Godrej are the sponsors for this event and will showcase their entire range of products in refrigerators and air conditioning systems.
