New Zealand beat Bangladesh by 9 wickets yesterday.

Having asked to bat first, Bangladesh were all out for 174 runs from 48.3 overs. Number nine batsman Mohammad Rafiq was the top scorer with 30 runs.

New Zealand completed the win in a professional way at the loss of only one wicket they achieved the target in 29.2 overs.

Skipper Stephen Fleming remained unbeaten on 102 runs from 92 balls. Hamish Marshall scored 50 runs.

Man of the Match Shane Bond picked two wickets for just 15 runs off his 10 overs. Scott Styris finished with four wickets for 43 runs off his 10 overs.
