Imran Nazir plundered his second one-day international hundred to set up a 93-run victory for Pakistan under the Duckworth-Lewis Method in the rain-ruined ICC Cricket World Cup Group D match on Wednesday at Sabina Park.

Nazir struck 14 fours and eight sixes in 160 from 121 balls to lift Pakistan to 349 in 49.5 overs after they were sent in to bat.

Zimbabwe had crashed to 30 for three in the 10th over, then a 2-1/2 hour stoppage for rain meant they had to chase a revised target of 193 from 20 overs before they were dismissed for 99 in 19.1 overs.

Pakistan skipper Inzaman-ul-Haq playing his last ODI scored 37 runs off 35 balls, hitting two fours and three sixes. He received a very emotional farewell from the ground.

The result meant, that Zimbabwe finished off their three matches with just 1 point, while Pakistan with two points. Thus, Ireland with three points have now entered the Super 8 stage, regardless whether they win or lose their final match against the West Indies.
