Cricket Update: India wins by nine wickets

India won the second test match v/s England at Mohali by nine wickets. India has taked 1-0 lead in the three match series. The last test match will began on Mach 16 at Mumbai.

Virender Sehwag did bulk of the scoring at 76 not out, and also hit the winning shot. Captian Rahul Dravid was not out at the other end with 42 runs.

India had reached 115/1 at the end of 29 overs.

Virender Sehwag was batting on 57, and Rahul Dravid was batting on 32.

India had reached 81/1 at the end of 23 overs.

While Virender Sehwag was batting on 32, Rahul Dravid was batting on 23.

India had reached 52 for 1 at the end of 14th over.

Wasim Jaffer was out for 17 runs. Virender Sehwag is batting on 25, and Rahul Dravid is on 6 runs.

India 28/0 at lunch 

India has made steady progress and are 28 for no loss at the lunch interval on Day 5 of the second cricket test match v/s England.

Wassim Jaffer is batting on 15 runs and vice-caption Virender Sehwag has scored nine runs.

Earlier in the day, England were bowled out for 181 runs in the second innings at Mohali. They set a target of 144 runs for India to win the match.

England started the day, by losing three quick wickets to debutant Munaf Patel. Skipper Andrew Flintoff was the last batsman to be out at 51. Another debutant Piyush Chawla claimed the last wicket.

Munaf Patel fnished with impressive 4 for 25 of 13 overs, and Kumble took 4 wickets for 67 runs. Ian Bell topscored for England with 57 runs.
