Post-Titanic, tourmalines continue to enjoy favour among the champagne set, but equally popular are black diamonds, introduced by Riviera Fine Jewels. The company, founded in 1997, with offices in Mumbai and London, in collaboration with the private banking division of ABN-AMRO, held shows in Mumbai and Delhi to display its new Belle Epoque range for the winter season.
Also showcased was gold jewellery with coloured diamonds, rubies, and South Sea pearls. It is in catering to this niche market that ABN-AMRO is aligning itself.
