With e-commerce players Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal vying for the lion's share of the festive season sales, here are the best deals buyers can pick up on Monday. 

Flipkart's annual 'The Big Billion Days' sales festival is neck in neck with Amazon's 'Great Indian Festival'. 

While the e-commerce rivals eye close to $1.5 billion in festive sales, buyers can look forward to steep discounts. 

Flipkart:

1) HP 1 TB Wired External Hard Disk Drive: 

The portable hard disk is retailing at Rs 3,699, instead of its actual price of Rs 6,449. At a steep 42 per cent discount it is a good pick for those looking to store their Game of Thrones episodes or the latest season of Narcos without taxing their laptop's native hard disk space.

The black coloured model of the Moto smartphone, with  Turbo Charger and 32 GB memory, is retailing at Rs 14,999, instead of its actual price of Rs 18,999. 

With a 21MP snapper in the back, a 5MP front snapper, and 3630 mAh battery, this is a good pick for anyone looking for a solid mid-range smartphone on the cheap.

1) Microsoft Surface Pro 4:

The Surface Pro 4 SU3-0015, with a 12.3-inch screen, Core M processor, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB hard drive, and Windows 10 operating system, is retailing at Rs 58,890, instead of its actual price of Rs 81,599. At a 28 per cent discount it is a good catch for those looking for performance and extreme portability from their laptop. 

2) Mi Band 2 Smart Activity tracker: 

Xiaomi's Mi Band 2 is retailing at Rs 1,999, instead of its actual price of Rs 2,499. At a steep 20 per cent discount, this wearable device, which provides real-time monitoring of heart rate, sleep tracking, monitors your activity levels, and tracks walking distance and calculates calories burned, is a steal.
