As Katha enters its teens, a volume such as this was only waiting to be put together. And how! The publishing house has loudly announced that it has acquired an impressive following for its English translations of the best of contemporary Indian literature in largely error-proof, readable and attractive volumes.
The front cover proclaims that the short stories in the anthology have been selected by Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Govind Nihalani, Gulzar, Rituparno Ghosh and Sharmila Tagore.
