In order to attract 'high standard' and 'up market' tourists in Goa, the state tourism department is going ahead with its plans to set-up a golf course on the Betul-Naqueri-Quittol plateau.

The department has proposed to acquire around 10 lakh sq mt of prime private land owned by local villagers overlooking the picturesque Arabian Sea.
