Job fair for technical writers

Society for Technical Communication (STC) India Chapter will organise an employment fair to spread and create awareness among aspiring technical communication professionals as well as seasoned professionals.

The fair will be an interactive platform for job-seekers and job advertisers and will include a session on writing effective resumes and cover letters.

B S Gururaj, secretary, STC said aspiring technical writers and seasoned professionals will get to interact with senior HR and documentation professionals and a panel comprising senior HR managers will assess the results of the STC India 2005 technical communicator's survey.

STC, formed in 1999, is a forum for technical writers, usability specialists, technical editors and information architects and plays a key role in educating technical communication professionals in the country through learning sessions that impart information about the various skills required to shape their careers.
