They say if you have it, flaunt it... but maybe not all at one go? A range of detachable jewellery allows you to be classy at breakfast, chic for lunch and at your most ravishing at dinner. Have your personalised haute couture and bling it on.

All in one

Varuna D Jani's Popley Eternal introduces opulent detachable jewellery pieces, with necklaces created from a special aliage of diamonds mounted with precious-stones.

The diamonds 'n emerald Harmony necklace with the tear drop at the end can be detached and the smaller line worn as a princess necklace. The tear drop stone can be worn separately as a pendant while the emerald can be changed and set with a ruby or a topaz.

Then there's the opera necklace (above) which you can take apart to wear as a princess necklace, the pendant as a brooch and the band around your neck as a choker. The flower piece, for example, can also be worn as an accessory for your handbag.

The long and short of it

Gem Legacy's range allows you to go light during the day, say an enamel ball earring in gold studded with uncut diamonds (left) to be worn as a plain top, which can be jazzed up as a long earring for the evening.

And when there's a double dose of all things beautiful, who's complaining? Gem Legacy's gold reversible necklace and earrings have uncut diamonds on one side and rubies on the other.

Just as you like it

Mirari at the Shangri La hotel in Delhi has neckpieces, bracelets and earrings in a variety of designs using gold, precious stones, diamonds and pearls.

An exquisite piece, Parure, is a three-piece ensemble that vies for attention on the neck, shoulder and chest, in an extravagant display of South Sea, Akoya and Tahitian pearls (below).

The pearl choker is conjoined with a detachable shoulder necklace in pearls, as well as a brooch with a charming peacock motif that can be worn off the shoulder or in the centre as a long necklace.
