Nothing could be more gratifying, at the risk of sounding mushy, than the authentic feel of handcrafted paper binding a book on Gandhi. And that's just a first-glance sample of the thought Pascal Alan Nazareth has put into this. On balance of expectations, what's most impressive is how utterly contemporary Gandhi's leadership comes across as""especially for a generation that has already begun to fulfil Einstein's prophecy of incredulity this humble Porbander-born man would come to command""whether it is reflected in the brands he inspires (a global gizmo brand and domestic finance venture on page 111, and an Indian diversity-happy brand some pages later), or the clarity of reason he bestows upon such open terms as "enlightened nationalism" (pages 40-41). Eminently readable.
