"Give me anything to read except superficial books on how to be a better leader or how to influence people," says Anisha Motwani, director marketing, General Motors India.

Motwani, admits to buying two-three books every weekend. And she always takes time out to read each one. Currently flipping the pages of The Inheritance of Loss by Kiran Desai, "pretty interesting" is how she defines what she has read of it.

One author whose books she never misses is Paulo Coelho. "His style of writing and the way he expresses things in a simple manner is what I find brilliant," she says.

Fiction is a genre that appeals to her, especially potboilers. Be it a new Jeffrey Archer or John Grisham book, Motwani makes it a point to lay her hands on them.
