Rolls-Royce looks like they've been working to get their 2004 100EX convertible concept into production. In the mean time, they had on display at the Geneva Motor Show the 101 EX, a coupe concept with a host of innovative yet production feasible design ideas. |
Designed by Ian Cameron, the 101EX is powered by the Phantom's 6750cc V12 engine and in true Rolls style, has its interiors draped in the finest machined aluminium, leather, rosewood and red oak. |
The Rolls concept comes with tunning 21-inch wheels and a windscreen that evokes very mixed reactions. |
It is said that the windscreen is sculpted out of a huge chunk of billet aluminium, which is admirable, but the quarter glass on the sides we're not too sure of. The interior of the car apparently comes with 1,600 LEDs on the roof for a starry night effect. If you aren't already star struck, that is. |
Step by Steppe |
Renault-owned Dacia made their first appearance at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show with the Dacia Logan Steppe concept. The Steppe is Logan's vision of a leisure vehicle and features sturdy body panels in a very appealing colour scheme. |
The Steppe expands the Logan's platform to give it more internal space and a macho look, while the bits of matte plastic cladding and aluminium finishes make it look like the Skoda Yeti's country cousin. |
The Dacia Logan Steppe looks like a practical, promising MPV. Again, we expect the Steppe to be cheap, well-built and practical "" sounds a bit likea potential Indian launch, doesn't it? |
