SRK's wax statue unveiled at Tussauds in Hollywood

Shah Rukh Khan, the 'King Khan' of Bollywood, will now have his own place in Hollywood with his lifelike statue being unveiled at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in the US.

The 44-year-old superstar has become the first Bollywood star to be inducted into Hollywood museum which boasts of wax figures of celebrities like Audrey Hepburn, Clark Gable, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman, Johnny Depp, Alfred Hitchcock, Steven Spielberg, Beyonce and soccer star David Beckham.

The Museum called Shah Rukh's induction as "historic addition".

"It symbolizes a coming together of the world's two great film centers, Hollywood and Bollywood," the museum said.

 

The wax figure cost about $300,000.

Headquartered in London, Madame Tussauds have wax museums in New York, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Shanghai, Amsterdam, Washington DC, Berlin, and Hollywood.

Khan already has his wax figure in the London museum.
