It may be a slow market, but Delhi's elite class continues to grow, enticing companies to come up with projects to cash in on that wealth. The 3C Company has found a new way to cater to the needs of the super rich. In collaboration with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, it has unveiled a project that can only be described as a wealth hub. "Delhi One" brings luxury right to the doorsteps of those who can afford it. With three towers of private residences, a Four Seasons hotel and five commercial towers housing luxury retail brands and high-end restaurant chains, this complex, located minutes away from Connaught Place near the Delhi-Noida-Delhi flyway, promises to bring homes, workplaces, shopping and lifestyle experiences all under one tony address.
The blueprint
The Four Seasons Private Residences will dominate three towers in the Delhi One complex, built with the strictest guidelines in mind for sustainable architecture and aimed at procuring the LEED Gold certification from the Indian Green Buildings Council, or IGBC. Woods Bagot, a global architecture firm, has conceptualised the overall design of these residences. Each floor will house two suites, each spread over an area of 7,500 square feet. The 180 suites will all have four bedrooms, each of which are larger than any average master-bedroom in the market. Brijesh Bhanote, director (Sales and Marketing), 3C Company, says that the suites are more about grandeur rather than the number of rooms. He adds that the master-toilet itself is 12 feet by 9 feet, larger than most regular master bedrooms.

Bring home the luxury
The Delhi One residences offer a unique twist to luxury, with a hybrid between the comfort and privacy of one's own home and the lavish services of a Four Seasons hotel. Residents are entitled to round-the-clock concierge services, personal laundry, housekeeping facilities, valet parking and in-house dining from the hotel. The suites are designed in a way that allows the residents complete privacy from the service staff. There are also stretcher-lifts for medical emergencies. Each suite has its own hydro-spa, while residents have access to common health studios.
Bhanote comments that the suites are furnished to an extent that the families "only need to move-in with their toothbrush and everything else is taken care of". The suites offer a cocoon for the residents, who will never need to step out of the complex for anything that they might need. And if they do need to step out, there's always the helipad at the roof to whisk them away to wherever they want.
Number-speak
While the number of units sold is confidential information, Bhanote says that the response has been "very encouraging, even in this slow market". The entire complex, including the apartments, is expected to be up-and-running by mid-2016. Apartments are priced between Rs 22,000 and Rs 25,000 per sq feet, which translates to Rs 16.5 crore to Rs 18.75 crore for each suite.
