Team India recalls Sehwag, Munaf

Virender Sehwag and Munaf Patel were today recalled to the Indian squad for the first two one-dayers against Sri Lanka starting February 8.

Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina and Ramesh Powar were dropped from the squad that played the last match against the West Indies.

The 15-member squad: Rahul Dravid (captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Robin Uthappa, Yuvraj Singh, Sourav Ganguly, Dinesh Kaarthick, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Irfan Pathan, Ajit Agarkar, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, S Sreesanth and Munaf Patel.

The four matches against Sri Lanka would be played in Kolkata (February 8), Rajkot (February 11), Goa (February 14) and Visakhapatnam (February 17).

The Indian team for the World Cup will be announced on February 12.
