 He helped many patients regain their vision before opening his eyes to the fact that he has the vision to become a successful businessman.

 K K Desai, an ophthalmologist by profession, discovered the entrepreneur in him after spending 40 years in his clinic.

 His Aditya Health Food now makes papads, khakhras, pickles and a host of other items.

 Desai was a very successful ophthalmologist, who performed up to 10 eye surgeries a day, and his high-profile patients included the deputy prime minister L K Advani.

 Ironically, the businessman in him came to the fore when he was planning an agitation against the World Trade Organisation.

 To prepare for the agitation, Desai was collecting facts and figures on India
