Snoop Dogg India Tour
January 11-13

The American rapper who has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, will sing popular hits like “Snoop’s Upside Ya Head” and “What’s my name” on his first two-city tour in India, across Pune and Delhi.

The rapper will launch his 12th album, Reincarnated, in 2013 under his new moniker, Snoop Lion.

York Live Festival 2013 
January 21

A weekend celebration of wine and music at the York Winery in Nashik, Maharashtra, featuring performances by Karsh Kale, Something Relevant and Mr Woodnote. To make the most of your weekend, book a vineyard tour and sample their Shiraz. Also, reserve a table at Cellar Door, the York Winery’s in-house restaurant in advance. 

 

Storm Festival 2013
February 1-2

The camp-out festival will be spread out over 22 acres at Storm Fields, in Napoklu, Coorg. Expect a great mix of Electronic Dance Music (EDM), fusion and live music; catch performances by Indian Ocean, Karsh Kale Collectiv, The Raghu Dixit Project, Papon and the East India Company and Nikhil Chinapa.

Spring Zouk 2013
February 3-5

This two-day DJ fest in Malpe (near Mangalore) showcases art, music, cuisine and culture — all under one umbrella.

India Surf Festival 2013
February 7 – 9

Next year, Orissa’s Puri-Konark Marine Drive beach will attract more than 60 surfers from India, Singapore, Spain, Italy, Morocco and Brazil along with 2,000 visitors for a spectacle across the sands. The festival will also showcase art, music, films and photography.

Gotye India Tour
February 6

Dutch-Australian indie-pop artist Gotye‘s chart-topping single “Somebody That I Used To Know” was one of 2012’s popular post-break-up songs. And the artist is all set to enthrall fans at the Oz Fest at Blue Frog in New Delhi.

Slash India Tour
February

While the dates are unconfirmed, the stellar performer and former lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses, Saul Hudson or Slash, will be coming to India on his maiden tour across Chandigarh, Mumbai and Bangalore.

Sunburn Arena Tours
March and April

Sunburn will host three popular EDM acts by DJ Armin van Buuren (March 16, Mumbai), Dutch musician Tiësto (March 29 in Bangalore, March 30 in Mumbai and March 31 in Delhi) and Swedish DJ Avicii (April 6 in Mumbai and April 7 in Delhi). Get ready to sway to chart-topping hits like “Just be” and “Don’t hold back”.

Escape Festival 2013
May

While the dates are yet to be finalised, the fifth edition of the Escape Festival at The Lake Resort in Naukuchiatal, Uttarakhand promises to be a creative retreat featuring bands, writers, photographers, painters, graffiti artists, performance artists, tattoo artists and potters.

Bacardi NH7 Weekender
Dates unconfirmed

Known as India’s “happiest” music festival, Weekender brings together quirky indie music acts featuring The Raghu Dixit Project, Indian Ocean and Karsh Kale. Like last year, Weekender will continue to hold “mini-fests” across Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai.

Sunburn 2013
December 27-29

For a fitting end to an exciting musical year, head to Goa where Sunburn will take over the sands of Candolim Beach in its seventh edition. While the Sunburn 2012 line-up boasted of big names like DJs Paul van Dyk and Sander Van Doom, you can only expect it to get bigger and better next year.
