Maruti has not phased out any cars since they started operations! The Baleno is a bit old by design, but represents excellent value today.  It has a peppy engine that is both reliable and economical. And has ride quality that is far better than what the competition can offer, and excellent overall fit and finish too. We think it is considerably a better buy than the Fiesta 1.6 or even the Ikon.  That said, you are also well advised to try out the Hyundai Accent - again an old car to look at, but excellent value at today
