Twin expo on packaging, signage industry

Hyderabad-based Villart Expositions will organise a three-day twin exhibition 'Hyderabad International Print Pack 2005 & Sign Show 2005' at Hitex from November 18, 2005. The Sign Show is being organised for the first time in Hyderabad.

Announcing this to mediapersons, V V Ramana, Villart Expositions, said, "The exhibition would showcase the latest in signage, printing and packaging industries. The rise of malls has seen a proportionate rise in demand for signage and the industry has seen major changes in the last five years."

Giving a brief on the current trend in signage industry, Ramana said, billboard printing that cost as much as Rs 125 per sq ft five years back now costs as low as Rs 9 per sq ft and print machines that cost Rs 2 crore earlier were now available at Rs 8 lakh.

Some of the categories being exhibited include signage, sign substrates, POP raw materials, vinyls adhesive, glow signs, LED displays, plasma screens, large format printers and PVC foam boards. About 64 participants from across the country will exhibit over an area of about 3,500 sqm.
