Star Cruises' SuperStar Libra, an exclusively floating resort in the high sea, offers three itineraries -- four-night cruise (Mumbai-Goa-Lakshadweep-Mumbai), two-night cruise (Mumbai-Goa-Mumbai) and one-night cruise (Mumbai-Highseas-Mumbai).

The four-night cruise through the high sea is from Sunday to Thursday, while the two-night cruise happens from Thursday to Saturday and the one-night cruise is Saturday to Sunday.

The package starts from Rs 4,000 - to stay inside stateroom for one night cruise - to Rs 74,200 for a four-night cruise in Executive Suite of SuperStar Libra. All rates are for per person on a twin-sharing basis.

According to Star Cruises senior marketing manager (India) Naresh Rawal, the cruise major is offering the lowest rates among all international cruising packages and the response from Indian customers is encouraging.

"The hub for this domestic cruise package is Mumbai and SuperStar Libra will make three calls in a week. SuperStar Libra has passenger capacity of 1,480 people to be housed in 740 cabins," Rawal said.

SuperStar Libra has six different levels of stateroom such as Executive Suite, Junior Suite, Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom, and Oceanview Stateroom with Porthole and Inside Stateroom.

For one-night cruise, the Inside Stateroom costs Rs 4,000 while Executive Site costs Rs 19,100. In the case of two-night cruise, the package starts from Rs 10,100 for lowest cabin and Rs 37,100 for top cabin. The Inside Stateroom in the four-night cruise costs Rs 20,300 while Executive Suite costs Rs 74,200.

Rawal said the customer would get approximately 10 per cent discount across the rates for all itineraries if he books 30 days in advance under 'Star Saver' scheme.

Significantly, Star Cruises also imposes passenger handling charge and fuel surcharge in addition to the rates. For one-night cruise, the liner charges Rs 1,230 while two-night the charge is Rs 2,060. For four-night cruise, the liner imposes Rs 3,520. This means the minimum cost for an Arabian sea cruise is Rs 5,230 for one night cruise onboard SuperStar Libra.

"The rates include stay on board for prescribed day with three meals a day and all forms of entertainment offered in the ship," Rawal said.

The cruise pampers you with a wide variety of restaurants including Jain buffet consisting of Blue Lagoon, Two Trees Restuarant, Coconut Willy's, The Saffron, Pool Bar, Lickety Spilts, Taj By The Bay and Four Seasons.

SuperStar Libra has sports and fitness setup to flex muscles and there is on-board entertainment lounges to dance and sing the night away at discotheque and karaoke lounge.
