German luxury sports carmaker Porsche launched the diesel variant of Panamera in India on Wednesday. The vehicle is priced at Rs1.04 crore, ex-showroom Mumbai.
“The Panamera Diesel Edition is a thrilling four-door sports car that provides an abundance of driving pleasure, combined with styling accents that typify this specific model from Porsche,” said Pavan Shetty, director, Porsche India. “The range of additional equipment available as standard makes this premium model a truly attractive offering for our enthusiasts.”
The diesel variant is equipped with a 250hp engine, 19-inch alloy wheels in Panamera turbo II design, and bi-xenon headlights operating the Porsche Dynamic Light System.
Additional standard features include adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management, park assist (front and rear), reversing camera, electric slide and tilt sun roof, soft close doors, four-zone climate control and Power Steering Plus.
The diesel edition is powered by a 3.0 litre V6 engine producing 250 bhp between 3,800 and 4,400 rpm and 550 Nm of torque between 1,750 and 2,750 rpm. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.8 seconds and rev up to a top speed of 244 kmph.
