20 start-ups inducted in acceleration programmes

Nasscom had received 4,000 applications for the 10,000 startups programme out of which it had shortlisted 332 firms to finally select these 20 start-ups

Under its ‘10,000 start-ups’ programme, technology industry body Nasscom has revealed that around 20 companies were accepted in various acceleration programmes such as the Microsoft Accelerator.

Nasscom had received 4,000 applications for the 10,000 startups programme out of which it had shortlisted 332 firms to finally select these 20 start-ups.

As part of the initiative, Nasscom said that 10 companies were accelerated at the Start-up Warehouse set up by the body with the support of Karnataka government and around 30 companies received mentoring.

Moreover, around five companies raised on-the-spot funding from the SharkTank concept, four of them got funded at #Startuproots, Bangalore and one company got funded at Tie-the-knot, New Delhi.
 
 
Below are details of the companies that were accelerated at various organisations such as Morpheus, 500 Start-ups, TLABS, Kyron and Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at IIIT Hyderabad.
